Sara Reid
Host, Co-Creator and Producer

Sara works in the music industry in Nashville as a Production Assistant, and has spent most of her career as a touring musician (drummer), artist manager, podcast producer, and engineer.

In January 2025, she answered the call for jury duty in Nashville and was selected to serve as Juror #11 in the Tennessee v. Jason Chen murder trial, the case involving the killing of Jasmine Pace. Sara and 15 other jurors and alternates were sequestered in Chattanooga for ten days until the trial and sentencing were complete.

That experience became the foundation for Season 1 of SEQUESTERED, where Sara shares what it was like to sit on a high-profile murder trial and the emotional impact of hearing Jasmine Pace’s story firsthand.

Since then, Sara has continued to host and produce the series. Season 2 examines unsolved and cold cases from across the country, while Season 3 focuses on the 1996 murders of Julie Williams and Lollie Winans in Shenandoah National Park—a landmark case that has shaped conversations around LGBTQ+ rights, outdoor spaces, and justice for nearly three decades.
